Meet the Owner

My name is Tracy and I am the mother of two teenage children who are the light of my life. I also have a very loving and creative husband who has supported and continues to support my crazy cake making dream! I spent my high school years in Sequim, Washington and graduated from Western Washington University with a BS degree in Environmental Science. We moved to Southern Oregon after I graduated for my husband to complete college and start a family. I spent the first few years of my children’s lives as a stay-at-home-mom and worked part-time when necessary. Needless to say, cake decorating (or even baking) was the farthest thing from my mind, until I started watching a lot of ‘Cake Boss’. That sparked a desire in me to create something amazing out of cake and thus the dream began. 

I started decorating cakes after making my daughter’s second birthday cake. I had been watching a lot of ‘Cake Boss’ and had always thought that I could do something like ‘you see on t.v.’! How hard could it be anyway? I learned a lot though trial and error and came out with a very cute three tired, baked from scratch cake that was the hit of the party. That humble creation quickly blossomed into a full time cottage food business venture.

Cake decorating while raising 2 special needs kiddos has its rewards and challenges, but at the end of the day I am completely fulfilled and excited for each new day. I absolutely love what I do and I feel completely blessed to have a career that is a creative outlet as well as a networking adventure! I continue to meet the most wonderful people and look forward to meeting many more!
